GreenQloud announces it will offer Strategic Blue’s Cloud Options service to its customers

GreenQloud, the world’s first Truly Green(tm) public compute and data storage cloud, today announces it will offer Strategic Blue’s Cloud Options service to its customers. Bala Kamallakharan, CEO of GreenQloud commented, “GreenQloud has proven that being green in the cloud can be cost competitive, both for on demand usage, and long-term committed usage. To help make sure that our customers get the best possible pricing for their GreenQloud usage, and at a rate that aligns with their budget, we’ve selected Cloud Options.”

Dr James Mitchell, CEO of Strategic Blue said, “We are very excited about being able to offer a truly green cloud option to the IT industry. Our clients have been asking for a cloud that can deliver environmentally friendly, scalable IT resources, but at an acceptable pricing point. We can now offer this through GreenQloud. Through our Cloud Options service, we help GreenQloud users to budget more accurately for their cloud usage, by giving them fixed prices for prebooked cloud capacity that are below today’s on-demand prices. Customers can also apply to us for invoicing for their GreenQloud usage, making cloud computing easier for enterprise procurement by removing the need for payment by credit card.”
